Awaiting the release of the Jordan 11aka SPACE JAMS

Since the AJ 11's release back in 1995, the AJ 11's have become the most famous and popular in the Air Jordan Line. Sources say that they are releasing the AJ 11 November 27, following one of its famous colorways, representing its debut in the "SPACE JAM". Save up your money and wake up EXTRA early November 27th, it is already expected that they will sell out VERY quickly. This will probably be the last oportunity to get your hands on a pair of AJ 11's for a while.

Mr. Pacmans... FINALLY

Finally, the "counter-part" to the Ms. Pacmans released earlier this summer will reunited with her "spouse" Mr. Pacman. According to sneakernews.com a pair of Mr. Pacmans were spotted at the Concept Blue Lobester Release (more on this later). But, unlike the Ms. Pacmans, Mr. Pacman also has a matching SB bookbag. These SB's are expected to be released this August.

Nike SB's "UN" series...

I do not officially know if Nike SB purposely releases these "UN" SB kicks, but i personally see this as a failure to come up with new ideas. For those who are unfamiliar or new to the kick-aholic way of life, Nike SB will release a shoe (ex. Heaven's Gate Dunks, Futura Dunks) in a specific colorway. Then, they will release another shoe, usually opposite to the original release. Opposite in either model (Futura Dunk=LOW top shoe/UN-Futura Dunk=HIGH top shoe) OR in some cases they will invert the color way (ex. Heaven's Gate Dunks/UN-Heaven's Gate Dunks). When speaking of the Heaven's Gate and its dopple-ganger "Un-Heaven's Gate" the colorway goes as such.
HEAVEN'S GATE:
Toe Box: BLACK
Front Panel: BLACK
Center Panel: BLACK
Swoosh: WHITE
Outer Back/Flap Panel: BLACK
Inner Back Panel: PURPLE
Lace Panel: PURPLE Lace Panel: PURPLE
Tongue: PURPLE Tongue: WHITE
Inside Lining: LIGHT or TIFFANY BLUE
Midsole: WHITE
Sole: BLACK

UN-HEAVEN'S GATE:
Toe Box: WHITE
Front Panel: BLACK
Center Panel: BLACK
Swoosh: WHITE
Outer Back/Flap Panel: PURPLE
Inner Back Panel: BLACK
Inside Lining: PURPLE
Midsole: WHITE
Sole: PURPLE

Now you may notice that only the Toe Box, Inner & Outer Panel, Lining, and Soles differ. And you may be asking, why do you care so much about it. I don't. I'm just pointing out that these subtle differences is just showing me that Nike SB is running out of ideas for shoe designs. There are SO many creative shoe customizers on the rise. Perhaps Nike SB can collaborate with said customizers and create MORE special edition SB shoes. These are just a couple of my thoughts of how the shoe game is progressing, apparently it needs help... Hip-Hop is "allegedly" presumed dead, we don't want the shoe game to die too.

Fat Tongue vs. Skinny Tongue

VS.

Nike's basketball shoe line was fairly popular in the skateboarding scene, and the Dunk soon became a popular shoe for riders due to the stability and lower profile sole which improved grounding performance. After some time, Nike created a Dunk specifically for skateboarders, known as the Nike SB Dunk. It features an extra-padded "puffy tongue" (common among skateboarding sneakers) and Nike's patented Zoom Air insole. Since then, the SB Dunk has become a popular subcultural icon for so-called sneakerheads, or enthusiastic sneaker-collectors.

I've noticed that the new Dunk SB's being released now does
NOT have the trademark "fat tongue" that some of us (like myself has come to know and love). The fat tongue is what distinguishes SB dunks to any old, normal dunk. How do YOU feel about this?
